Welcome To Ireland

Upon arrival at Dublin Airport you will pick up your rental car.

Depending on the time of day, I recommend a trip to the Howth peninsula. There are seals living in the harbor and they are happy to pose for a photo. Howth is also well known for its fresh seafood. There are a number of restaurants in the harbor.

After having eaten you can go for a nice walk along the Howth Cliffs.

You continue to Dublin and check into your centrally located hotel.

Thursday 28th December, 2023 :
Explore the Capital

Discover the City of Dublin, a city steeped in history and vibrant culture. Wander through its cobblestone streets, adorned with Georgian architecture and lively pubs.

Visit iconic landmarks such as Dublin Castle and Trinity College, home to the Book of Kells.

End your tour at the Leprechaun Museum, where a real storyteller will guide you through a magical world of fairies.

In the evening savor a pint of Guinness in a cozy pub or stroll along the River Liffey, crossing elegant bridges connecting this city of literary greats.

I recommend hiring a private guide for half of the day.

Alternatively, it’s fun to use a hop-on hop-off bus. These buses stop at every sight you can think of. You can get on and off as often as you like for the duration of your chosen ticket.

Nestled along the banks of the River Lagan, Belfast stands as a testament to a city reborn.

From its troubled past, it has emerged as a vibrant capital of Northern Ireland, pulsating with history, culture, and resilience. Its streets tell tales of architectural contrast, where Victorian grandeur harmonizes with modern marvels. Amidst bustling markets and lively shops, Belfast’s artistic soul shines through its galleries, theaters, and music venues.

Start your day with a visit to the iconic Titanic Museum, it is best to do in the morning to avoid crowds. Here you’ll learn about the ill-fated ship’s captivating story and its connection to Belfast’s maritime heritage. The highlight is a six-seater car which takes the visitor on a ride through a recreation of a shipyard which moves through a scale replica of Titanic’s enormous rudder.

Next, delve into the city’s troubled past as you visit the Peace walls, which stand as a poignant reminder of the Troubles that once gripped Northern Ireland. These walls bear witness to a complex history, and will provide a deeper understanding of the city’s journey towards peace and reconciliation.

Then, head to Belfast Castle, a striking edifice nestled atop Cave Hill, offering breathtaking views of the city and its surroundings.

Optional visits to consider:

– a visit to the opulent Victorian City Hall, an architectural gem that showcases Belfast’s rich heritage.
