Upon arrival at Dublin Airport you will pick up your rental car.
Depending on the time of day, I recommend a trip to the Howth peninsula. There are seals living in the harbor and they are happy to pose for a photo. Howth is also well known for its fresh seafood. There are a number of restaurants in the harbor.
After having eaten you can go for a nice walk along the Cliffs.
You continue to Dublin and check into your centrally located hotel.

At that time, the canals were only covered by alleys and streets and slumbered under the city centre. As a result, even the main street is not straight, following the underground river.

The family-owned Toy Soldier Factory has been established in Ireland since 1976. It is situated in the beautiful little village of Kilnamartyra, halfway between Killarney town and Cork City on the main N22 road only a short distance from Macroom town. A trip to the newly renovated visitor centre is both an educational and fun experience for all the family.
The factory produces hundreds of different black rubber moulds that allow you, the customer, to join in on a painting workshop where you can paint your very own model from a Tin Soldier, fairies, monsters, and seasonal ornaments, suitable for all ages.

This nineteenth century Victorian mansion is set against the stunning beauty of Killarney National Park. The house stands close to the shores of Muckross Lake, one of Killarney’s three lakes, famed world wide for their splendour and beauty. As a focal point within Killarney National Park, Muckross House is the ideal base from which to explore this landscape.
Muckross House was built for Henry Arthur Herbert and his wife, the water-colourist Mary Balfour Herbert. This was actually the fourth house that successive generations of the Herbert family had occupied at Muckross over a period of almost two hundred years. William Burn, the well-known Scottish architect, was responsible for its design. Building commenced in 1839 and was completed in 1843.
