Upon arrival at Dublin Airport you will pick up your rental car.
Depending on the time of day, I recommend a trip to the Howth peninsula. There are seals living in the harbor and they are happy to pose for a photo. Howth is also well known for its fresh seafood. There are a number of restaurants in the harbor.
After having eaten you can go for a nice walk along the Cliffs.
You continue to Dublin and check into your centrally located hotel.

Roosky: This picturesque village is an important boating hub on the River Shannon with many attractive mooring spots. There are some beautiful walking trails here and excellent spots for anglers.
Tarmonbarry: Tarmonbarry is a welcoming town with many traces of the past. Explore the hidden abbey on the church grounds, built in the 12th century, or enjoy the sight of the grand Carriglas Manor. If you stay overnight, indulge in the numerous local pubs and restaurants.
Lanesborough: In the small town of Lanesborough stands one of the oldest centers of Christianity in Longford, Saint John’s Church, a beautiful building erected on an older church from the fifth century.
